Spill Map

“Spill Map,” a dance quintet, examines echoes through nature and time. Across a horizon of hips and feet, performers evoke erosion and sea foam tracks. Rippled with Butoh and improvisational influences, this contemporary piece unfurls like the curl of a spine. A spill morphs each moment it’s allowed to expand.

Performed by Gaby Milazzo, Alicia René Kenefic, Jessyka Bagdon, Emma O'Brien, and Chloé Richier this work was presented as part of Glad Dance Collective's National Choreography Month, February 2024 at Dance Exchange.

Original sound score by Bruce Dalzell.
